Andrew McGowan encountered Shallen Yu in Yellowstone and thought to himself, "I'm going to marry that girl." And he did! Shallen was aware that her family might disapprove, and indeed they initially did. However, her mother consulted a Chinese fortune teller, who predicted that they would have their differences but would ultimately work them out. Currently, Andrew and Shallen have two children and are happily married.
