To celebrate National Pizza Day and Small Business Shoutout we are joined by Chef Jorge Sandoval of Brooklyn Ave. Pizza Co.
Located in the historic Boyle Heights community of Los Angeles, Brooklyn Ave Pizza Co. sits beneath one of Los Angeles’ longest-running music and events venue, The Paramount LA. Operating for nearly a century, it still serves as a creative outlet for burgeoning and prominent artists. The building has been home to the Jewish Bakers Union of LA during the early 20th century, and Boyle Heights Community Kitchen. The restaurant’s name is inspired by its location in BH along Cesar E Chavez Avenue (formerly known as Brooklyn Avenue).
