There's a lot to talk about in today's #WhatchaWatchinWednesday, so let's get right to it. We know you're probably very sad, but it's time to accept the truth. Yes, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' is finally ending after 20 seasons.
20 seasons?! JMJ...
Another long running show that's finally wrapping up is 'The Walking Dead.' It's going to take a while to get there, but the show's 11th and final season will happen in 2022. So all you dead heads out there have plenty of time to rewatch the series, or start the series if you've never seen it before.
Something happening much sooner though is the return of Ellen DeGeneres to her talk show, following reports of her fostering a toxic work environment and being an all around meany pants. She's supposed to address all of the allegations against her when she returns to her white couch on September 21st.
And finally there's controversy surrounding the Academy Awards and the new diversity standards for the Best Picture category. Starting in 2024 films must meet certain criteria to be considered for the award including casting actors from underrepresented groups in significant roles, committing to paid internships and career development programs, and representation within a film's marketing and publicity team.
