Today's #SmallBusinessShoutout features Enegren Brewing Co. in Moorpark! Enegren specializes in German-style beers, and man do they sound good. Here's a bit of info from John Bird, Master of Festivities over at the brewery:
Enegren Brewing Co. started in 2011 in a small industrial building behind the Sheriff's station in Moorpark, CA by Chris and Matt Enegren and Joe Nascenzi. It grew from a passion of beer, being home brewed in the Loyola Marymount dorms into our 3000+barrel/year 12000 sq foot brewery, bierhalle and biergarten. Enegren specializes in traditional German-style beers, focusing mostly on lagers.
Our passion for German beer, German Brewing and German beer culture is what sets our brewery and our beer apart from most other breweries in California. Our is distributed in retailers, restaurants and bars from Santa Barbara County down through San Diego and Arizona and throughout California in Trader Joes.
During the COVID shutdown we had to shift quickly from mostly draft to mostly package, and get creative and innovative in how we got our product to the consumer, near and far, while trying to keep jobs for all of our employees.'
Enegren is back to its normal operating hours, and are making sure the proper social distancing and health guidelines are in place to ensure the safety of their customers and employees. They're a great local spot, so if you're out in Ventura County make sure you stop by Enegren for a brew!
