Jane Wells on oil, golfing, and the future of the workplace

So Monday was a strange day. For the first time ever we saw the price of crude oil drop below $0 a barrel, all because the country is stuck at home with nowhere to go. Have you noticed how cheap gas is right now? Too bad we can't take advantage of it. So now we've got too much oil on our hands and we've got nowhere to put it.

When we are finally able to get in our cars and go to work, we'll probably be hit with some more strange things such as the basic layout of our workspaces. Jane Wells, CNBC reporter, frequent KFI fill-in host, and friend of the show, says a lot of office environments will go BACK to having high cubicles separating workers.

Remember that big open-office-style movement that was popular a few years ago? Breaking down cubicles to allow for office workers to collaborate and pitch around ideas like a bunch of young techies in a Silicon Valley startup? Those days are probably over, and when you come back to work it's going to feel a lot like Office Space:

Hopefully your new setup won't block your old view of the squirrels, and hopefully you don't get sent to the storage room. However things turn out, life will go on. We get into oil, office spaces of the future, and even the future of golfing with Jane Wells!
