We're doing something cool on our webpage with KFI's partners at Yappa. If you know someone working on hard on the frontlines of COVID-19, or someone who is stepping up to help others, you can leave us a voice or video message thanking them or shouting them out!
All you have to do is click here to learn more. We'll play as many "Thank Yous" and "Shout outs" as possible.
In fact, that's how we found today's guest Eric Henninger. Eric's mom Sara left us a message on Yappa explaining how he's a high school teacher in Garden Grove, and since he's got some more time on his hands, he's been putting his 3D printer to use and is making plastic face shields for healthcare workers.
Eric and some volunteers started OC 3D PPE and are sharing the printing specifications on their website in case other people want to get involved. Listen to our interview with Eric below:
Do you have a friend or family member you'd like to publicly thank? You can do it by leaving a voice or video message on our comment section powered by Yappa! Click the link here to view other people's messages and leave your own. We'll play as many as we can back on the air.
To all the essential workers and innovators giving it their all right now, THANK YOU!
