We checked in with Carl Goldman again today. Carl and his wife Jeri own KHTS Hometown Radio Station in Santa Clarita. They have been documenting their COVID-19 journey ever since their quarantine on the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Yokohama, Japan.
Carl ended up testing positive for Coronavirus and was send to a medical facility in Nebraska after getting off the ship. Jeri never tested positive for the virus, but did stay in Nebraska for a while while Carl recovered. They have both since returned home, but their ordeal isn't over.
Carl is negative for COVID, however his blood platelets may hold answers to finding a cure. The Goldman's were also invited to The White House on Tuesday to sit down with President Trump and discuss their experience with other Coronavirus survivors.
