#TerrorInTheSkies Fresh Air and Faulty Engine

Imagine sitting on a plane and looking out the window mid-flight and seeing one of the engines of the plane shaking violently up and down. Naturally, after seeing something as terrifying as a broken engine, you would say to yourself, "That doesn't look right, gosh I hope I don't die!" A passenger on the plane recorded a video of the footage and posted it on twitter with a caption saying, "This morning at #DIA flight UA293. Engine malfunctioned mid-flight."

Because of the malfunction, the United Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at the Denver International Airport, where it originally departed. Thankfully, the plane landed safely and the passengers changed their flights. Talk about an inconvenience right?

Not one terror in the skies story, but two! What do you do when you're on a plane and you need a "breath of fresh air?" You wouldn't open the emergency exit door right? Well, that is exactly what a woman did on a Xiamen Air flight from Wuhan to Lanzhou, China. This woman's dire need for a breather delayed the plane's take-off. A video captured the moment after the woman opened the door.

Passengers have previously opened the emergency door on accident. But this woman knew exactly what she was doing. She was conveniently sitting in the emergency row and was told by the flight attendants not to push the button because that would open the emergency exit door. Clearly, the woman completely disregarded the flight attendant's instructions and pressed the button. The plane had not yet taken off when the door opened. Because of the incident, the woman may face fines or jail time.
