The recent rainy months in Southern California may have eased the drought, but it's also going to cause other issues like an increase in the mosquito population, a concern about bees emerging later than usual from their hives and now hikers are warning that you're likely to see a lot more rattlesnakes out on those hiking paths in Southern California, so keep an eye out not only for yourself, but for your pups!

We reached out to Tim Daly, Public Information Officer for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to talk about the rattlesnakes and also the recent increase in bear sightings in Sierra Madre and what they're doing to help residents keep them away from homes.
