A Tesla engineer reportedly suffered an injury after being attacked by a robot at the company's Texas factory.
The incident occurred in 2021, during which the robot unexpectedly pressed its claws into the engineer's body, resulting in lacerations on the back and arm. Fortunately, the engineer managed to get away when a colleague pressed the emergency stop button.
This incident took place because the robot, typically utilized for cutting aluminum parts, was inadvertently left active while the engineer was in the process of programming it. As it carried out its routine functions, the robot accidentally struck the engineer.
