Despite having closed its physical locations, Bed Bath & Beyond will continue to operate online.
Overstock.com purchased the company, and as a result, it will now go by the moniker Bed Bath & Beyond and point its website to bedbandandbeyond.com.
The company's intellectual property rights were apparently purchased by Overstock.com for $21.5 million, and the new name would be introduced in August.
This year, Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy. This weekend marks the planned closure of the final stores.
