The tragic conclusion unfolded on Thursday as the search for the missing Titanic sub came to an end.
Following the discovery of debris near the Titanic site, the Coast Guard grimly announced that the sub had experienced a "catastrophic" implosion, resulting in the loss of all five individuals aboard.
On Sunday, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes into the sub's dive, communication with the vessel was abruptly severed. Authorities are currently engaged in determining the precise sequence of events.
Among the five individuals on board were OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, wealthy Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, along with the ship's pilot, Paul-Henry Nargeolet.
