Americans seem to be giving up cigarettes as it’s been reported from a survey conducted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- E-Cigarettes are becoming more popular as “about 1 in 17 adults” have made the switch from regular smokes to electronic.
- Grown smokers dropped to 11%, down from about 12.5% in 2020 and 2021.
- Smoking cigarettes were at the height of its popularity in the 1960s, but has been declining for years due to tobacco price hikes and taxes.
