Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass is calling out United Airlines after he says a flight attendant forced his pregnant wife to clean up a mess made by the couple’s toddler.
- In a message posted to Twitter on Sunday, Bass says his wife, who’s 22 weeks pregnant, was forced to “get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess left by my youngest daughter."
- Country singer Jessie James Decker, who’s the sister of Bass’ wife, chimed in with, "My poor sister is on her hands and knees crying in the aisle, completely humiliated and exhausted with her children, while everyone else watched."
- Although United Airlines officials have not yet commented on the incident, the Association of Flight Attendants on Tuesday issued a statement that reads,
“We’re sharing the aircraft cabin to do something we can’t do alone."
