The grand jury indictment against former President Trump was unsealed at his arraignment hearing on Tuesday. Here's some of what's inside:
- Trump is charged with 34 criminal counts pertaining to an alleged "catch and kill" scheme to stop damaging information from leaking ahead of the 2016 election.
- The allegations include falsified business records concerning a $130,000 'hush money' payment to former adult film star Stormy Daniels, made by attorney and Trump 'fixer' Michael Cohen.
- But that's not the only alleged 'hush money' mentioned - The indictment also mentions a $150,000 payment made by the editor-in-chief of the National Enquirer to conceal and affair Trump had with Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal, as well as $30,000 for a Trump Tower doorman to keep silent.
- Prosecutors also claim Trump and Cohen worked out payment details in the Oval Office after Trump was elected.
