Raccoon Seen Relaxing In Hammock Belonging To PA Woman:
- Philadelphia resident Sarah McAnulty was working inside her home last Thursday when she heard a rustling noise coming from outside. Frightened, she peaked through her window -- and sure enough, there was a bandit in her yard, she says.
- But not the kind of bandit you might be thinking of. This one was a big raccoon, which had climbed into McAnulty's back porch hammock and was lying on its back, taking a nap. "I grabbed a flashlight and my phone, and took a short video and went back to work," McAnulty says. When she checked again before turning in for the night, the raccoon was still there; apparently, it spent the entire night in the hammock, she says.
- McAnulty has posted a photo of the cute creature on Twitter, writing, "Excuse me, who taught the raccoon on my back porch how to use a hammock?" The post has received more than 42,000 likes.
