A new series of U.S. Postal Service stamps pays tribute to mariachi music.
- The stamps are the work of artist Rafael López, who was asked to design a series of stamps honoring Latin American culture.
- López settled on mariachi music and created five different designs - one of which used his own nephew as a model.
- It's the first time mariachi music has ever been highlighted on a U.S. stamp. The series launched earlier this month.
- If you could design your own postage stamp, who or what would be on it?
