In a video that has been viewed more than 18 million times on Twitter, Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr exploded with emotion in his pregame press conference Tuesday night over the latest mass shooting at a Texas elementary school.
- Kerr shouted and pounded the table in response to the massacre that killed 19 children and two adults.
- "When are we going to do something? I'm tired. I'm so tired of getting up here and offering condolences to the devastated families out there. I'm so tired of the excuses. I'm tired of the moments of silence. Enough."
- Kerr then went on to slam senators who "refuse to do anything" and warned that people can't get "numb" to mass shootings.
- Kerr has been very vocal about gun violence, as his own father was shot and killed in 1984.
- Have we as Americans become numb to mass shootings? Are we accepting them as part of everyday life now?
