A Pentagon spokesperson says Russia has withdrawn all troops from the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, as well as the city of Chernihiv.
- According to a New York Times report, as many as 40,000 troops are expected to return to Russia and Belarus to re-supply, then likely be deployed to eastern Ukraine - where a major offensive is expected in the coming weeks.
- Does it signal a 'defeat' for Russia that it couldn't take Kyiv? Is another attack on the city possible?
