Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is continuing his quest to drum up support from other countries.
- On Thursday, Zelensky made an appeal to Belgium, asking officials to help Ukraine with “weapons, sanctions and membership of the European Union.” He told the country's leaders, “Maybe soon the future will pay you back.”
- Zelensky has now made the appeal to 17 countries, including the U.S.
- Why has Russia persisted when it knows most of the world is on Ukraine's side?
