The oldest active National Park ranger is hanging up her hat - at age 100.
- Betty Reid Soskin retired this week after 15 years on the job - meaning she was already in her mid-80's when she started working at Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, CA.
- Soskin would share her experiences as a Black woman working on the home front during WWII, as well as stories of other wartime women.
- She'll be honored during a special celebration at the park on April 16th.
- Do you plan to keep busy in your old age?
