CBS LA posted a video of 40 horses from the Saddletree Ranch Equestrian Center running for their lives from the massive fire in Sylmar. Because the flames were moving at such a rapid rate, there was not enough time to put the horses in trailers. As a result, the horses were freed from their stalls in order to escape. The video is absolutely heartbreaking as horses are frantically trying to find safety from the flames. But CBS is happy to report that all of the horses have been rescued! We are absolutely relieved to hear that these horses are safe!
