A woman gave birth to her baby in the backseat of an Uber ride in Sherman Oaks.
The new mother, Erica Davidovich, said she made a simple prayer before she and her husband headed for the hospital:
"God, just please, please, make it fast and easy and a healthy baby. I didn't push. Nothing happened. Somehow, the gravity, the baby just slid out. My incredible husband caught the baby."
The Uber driver, Raymond Telles, recalls having to stop at a Whole Foods located on Riverside Drive and Coldwater Canyon.
"I was actually calm, very calm. I kind of freaked out a little bit once I turned around and saw that the baby was out."
First responders came just after the baby boy was born. He weighed in at 6 pounds and 12.5 ounces.
