Off-duty Firefighter pulls two victims from 405 fiery plane crash

An Avalon off duty Firefighter pulled two victims out of a burning plane that crashed on the 405 Freeway near the John Wayne Airport in Orange County. The pilot and his passenger were covered in blood while some good Samaritan's worked quickly to get them to safety. The off-duty firefighter, John Meffert, talked about the rescue during a Friday afternoon press conference. Check out the video above.
