We hear so much about hate and destruction, but we need a little celebration! Let's celebrate love and let love win. Here is how. For more information check out Daily News

Below is a list of “Summer of Solidarity” events in June.

Saturday, June 3:

·      “Heal From Hate” clinic at the Rake Straw Community Center, 5139 S. Main St., Los Angeles, 10 a.m.

·      Hate Crime Clinic at Heritage United Methodist Church, 112 W. 52nd St., Los Angeles, 10 a.m.

·      LGBTQIA+ Mural Concept Workshop, Bixby Park, 130 Cherry Ave., Long Beach.

Sunday, June 4: Jewish community mural unveiling at The Mark For Events, 9320 Pico Blvd., Los Angeles. A new mural was developed with the ADL and The Jewish Federation, celebrating Jewish culture in Los Angeles. Join for performances, family activities, food and connection.

Sunday, June 18: Third annual Juneteenth Celebration & Resource Fair at CicLavia South LA, Vermont Avenue and West Century Boulevard, 9 a.m. Learn about services on housing, immigration rights, mental health and more, along with community vendors and activities.

More community events and dates for the mural unveilings will be announced. LA vs Hate also created a “Summer of Solidarity” toolkit and has a confidential hotline — 211 — where people can report hate crimes and incidents, as well as receive resources and support.
