This week, Producer Victor had a question about credit cards. He already uses the Bilt Mastercard for rent, but he wanted to know about a good credit card to use for groceries. Joel recommends the American Express Blue Cash Preferred Card. You get 6% cash back on groceries and select streaming services and 3% back on gas. You get your cash back in the form of rewards dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit. There is a $95 fee, but the benefits are enough to make this card worth it.
Joel had his friend, Chad Carson, on the show to talk about investing in real estate. It sounds risky to be a real estate investor, but you can slowly take in a lot of information to be on your way to owning and making money on real estate. There is also a misconception out there that you need to buy as much real estate as possible, but Chad says that this isn't true. You can start out with just one site, and he even wrote a book about it!
