DHS Academy Of Culinary Entrepreneurship

Chef Jason Prince of the Culinary Arts Instructor in Duarte High School stopped by with some students to talk about a huge event coming up.

They are doing big things including raising up to 500lbs of tilapia in their aquaponic greenhouse and putting together a monthly restaurant “pop-up” to showcase the students abilities, entrepreneurial and forward thinking ideas. Thursday October 24th is the next “pop up” featuring bugs and experimenting with “potions” which will focus on the sober-curious movement and the cheese tea phenomenon that is dominating in China. They have an English teacher that will be teaching on The Great Gatsby, so it will be a prohibition 'speakeasy' event.
