If you guessed Los Angeles, hate to break it to ya! You’re wrong. It was Austin taking the top spot for the second year in a row. A recent study done by Real Estate Witch that ranked the top 50 cities for tacos in America.
Austin had the highest percentage of restaurants that are taco joints at 7.4%. The rankings were based on taco restaurants per 100,000 residents, average Yelp star rating, average cost of taco supplies and other factors.
Despite LA taking the sixth placement on the list, California actually had four cities in the top 15. This made California the list's best state for tacos at least!
