Steve Bannon Expected to Turn Himself in to New York Prosecutors

Steve Bannon, the ex-advisor to former President Trump, is expected to turn himself in to New York prosecutors as part of a new criminal investigation.

In a statement, Bannon said New York “has now decided to pursue phony charges against me 60 days before the midterm election.”

Bannon will be indicted on charges related to his role in a 25-million-dollar fundraising scheme called “We Build the Wall.”

He is being accused of defrauding donors and used the money for his own personal expenses.

In his last day in office, Trump pardoned Bannon. However, the pardon only applied to the federal case...not the state charges.
