A Pennsylvania man is being charged with abuse of a corpse, receiving stolen property and other charges after allegedly trying to buy stolen human remains from a woman in Arkansas.
Jeremy Pauley is accused of trying to purchase the remains on Facebook and arranged to pay the woman $4,000 through Facebook Messenger with plans to resell them.
Pauley runs a Facebook page called "The Grand Wunderkammer" where he specializes in "the odd and unusual" which includes human bones or body parts.
The remains were intended to be donated to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, but were stolen by a female mortuary employee and sold.
Pauley was arrested, but later released on a $50,000 bond.
