An image of the James Webb Space Telescope, the largest and most sensitive telescope ever launched, will be sold on stamps soon.
The James Webb Space Telescope has made major advancements in the science world and has allowed humans to see farther into space than ever before. The U.S. Postal Service will commemorate this remarkable gadget with an upcoming stamp. The stamp will have a picture of the James Webb Space Telescope designed by Derry Noyes.
Pre orders for the stamp can be made on the USPS website starting on August 8th. The US Postal Service “generally receives no tax dollars”. So, all the proceeds of the sale of this stamp will go to operating post offices all over the US.
