A 25-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being gored by a bison at Yellowstone National Park.
Officials say the bison was walking near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin when the woman tried to get close to it when it gored her.
The animal reportedly tossed the Ohio woman about 10 feet in the air.
She was transported to the hospital and is being treated for a puncture wound and other injuries.
Park officials say visitors have to stay at least 75 feet away from bison because they are unpredictable and have injured more people in Yellowstone than any other animal.
