Even though animals may be extremely cute, they are also very curious. That said, it is inevitable that at some point during their lifespans, their curiosity will backfire on them.
In fact, earlier this week, UPI News reported that a squirrel is to blame for a power outage that affected nearly 765 customers in Pennsylvania.
After investigating the power outage, repairmen for Penelec, a power provider, discovered the squirrel had gotten itself into the electrical equipment and pulled the plug on a good portion of households in the surrounding area.
As a precaution, the crews were reported to have installed animal protection gear to keep both the animals and technology safe.
