Austin, Texas has been rocked by a series of package bombings that have killed two people and injured at least 4.
Last night, police had a suspect, 23-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt in their sights, and converged on a motel where he was staying, just as Conditt drove away.
Officers followed Conditt's car which ended up in a ditch. As SWAT officers approached, Conditt detonated a bomb in his car, killing himself. One SWAT officer suffered minor injuries.
So what happens when there's a report of suspicious package? L.A. County Sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau Tactical Bomb Tech Sgt. John Hansen joined Bill to talk about it.
