TMZ: Harvey Weinstein's Contract Allowed Sexual Harassment

TMZ is reporting that there was a stipulation in Harvey Weinstein's contract that says he can be "sued over and over for sexual harassment and as long as he shelled out money, that was good enough for the Company."

The celebrity news agency says they know what was in Weinstein's 2015 employment contract with The Weinstein Company and it allegedly says if Weinstein must reimburse the company if he "treated someone improperly in violation of the company's Code of Conduct."

"You [Weinstein] will pay the company liquidated damages of $250,000 for the first such instance, $500,000 for the second such instance, $750,000 for the third such instance, and $1,000,000 for each additional instance."

The board member who negotiated Weinstein's contract, Lance Maerov confirmed to TMZ that the board knew Weinstein had already settled prior lawsuits by several women but they assumed it was only to cover up consensual affairs.
