We're sorry!
We really really are!
We promise to include the white-faced saki in next year's Baby Animal Bracket! (Which you can fill out by clicking here...)
Please don't hurt us with your massive monkey-muscles!
(Compose yourself! Don't let this monkey intimidate you!)
If you'd like to see the greatest white-faced saki in the whole wide world, you should go to Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki, Finland. That is where Santeri Oksanen took this picture.
“I couldn’t believe the huge muscles that the monkey had. The other monkeys were very small in comparison, they all looked a bit scared of her.”
“The pictures make it look like it’s competing in a bodybuilding contest.”
Although the breed is known to be pretty muscular, the males are usually larger than females.
You can find them living in countries like Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
