Are you familiar with SipSafe? It's a beverage safety testing kit engineered for identifying harmful substances used for drink spiking, like GHB (gamma hydroxybutyrate), often referred to as the "dating rape drug" and ketamine, the kit can be used virtually anywhere.

A Drink Safety Test Kit Request Form has been developed by the Health Department to ensure "equitable distribution" of the kits throughout the city's organizations and enterprises.

The form is available in the following languages: English, Spanish, Khmer, and Tagalog.

SipSafe Long Beach's objectives are to encourage drink testing in the neighborhood and make sure that drink safety information are easily accessible. Visit www.longbeach.gov/SipSafeLB for additional information about SipSafe Long Beach and to get drink safety test kits.
