Attention pet lovers, Clear the Shelters is hosting an adoption day this weekend! Potential pet parents are in luck as, Pasadena Humane will be covering the adoption fees!
So, no need to pay to have your new pet pals spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All one needs to do is provide a loving home. That is it!
Hosted by NBC4 and Telemundo 52, the annual event is set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19.
“Clear the Shelters” campaign has connected pet lovers with 98,000 pets in SoCal and a whopping 900,000 nationwide.
Last year, the campaign set a single-year record with more than 161,000 adoptions, including 60 from Pasadena Humane.

BONUS: All New adopters will be given a free wellness exam and care packet.
Residents of any city can attend the free event, however people living in Pasadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, Altadena, La Canada and Sierra Madre will need to purchase a license, which varies by city. Regular adoption screening will also apply.
Free onsite parking will be available at Pasadena Humane’s 361 S. Raymond Ave. shelter, with overflow parking available for free at the Del Mar Station.
