“Approximately 20,000 kittens are projected to be brought into Los Angeles animal shelters during kitten season—which runs from April to November— when most un-spayed cats have their litters,” said Brittany Thorn, Executive Director, Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in LA. “Kittens are known to be the most vulnerable, at-risk pets in shelters, and we are excited to showcase these adorable kittens in front of such a captive, cat loving audience that will hopefully result in lots of adoptions.”
