Wednesdays means we get to spend time talking all things business with the amazing Jane Wells! This morning they talk about Eli Lilly's announcement about insulin prices, Californians migrating to Texas (hint, they Texans don't like it) Elon's latest antics, banks making a ton of money on higher interest rates, and a GoFundMe for a Ukrainian family that Jane's friends are temporarily providing a home for.
The Kurta family and their three children are looking for housing and work to start a new life in America, they left Ukraine with nothing but their suitcases and have no friends of family in the U.S. Because of that and the language barrier, they haven't been successful at finding an apartment. Jane's friends are helping them with that, but at the very least they need to provide first and last month rent and security deposit to secure the apartment. Once they have it a refugee organization will help them by providing them with $1,920 a month for six months. Read more about their story and if you can help we'd appreciate it so much!
