HUGE Fish Caught in Cambodia

The largest freshwater fish was recently caught in Cambodia.

A local Cambodian fisherman caught a 661-pound fish in a freshwater river in the Stung Treng area of Cambodia.

Not only does this fish weight over 600-pounds, but measures a whopping 13-feet!!! THAT'S A HUGE FISH!!!!!!

According to researchers, this is the worlds largest freshwater fish ever caught, which is quite extraordinary. After the fish was caught, a group of researchers with Wonders of Stung Treng tagged the fish to keep track with its movements and also to study the fish.

When caught the fish was healthy and is expected to survive. It was released back into the river after it was caught.
