Monday's game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys was delayed by a black cat that got onto the field and stole both yards and people's hearts.
The cat turned up at New Jersey's Metlife Stadium in the middle of a play in the second quarter.
A delay was called for as stadium workers and New Jersey State Troopers ran around the field in pursuit of the runaway.
Meanwhile sports broadcaster Kevin Harlan was giving some of the BEST play by play in sports history.
After scoring a touchdown, the cat was almost cornered near the end zone, but was able to dart across the end line just as its pursuers were about to grab it.
The cat ended up leaving the stadium on its own, running through an exit tunnel as the crowd cheered.
