Earlier this month you heard about a brutal attack on a woman that took place at a Metro station in Pasadena.
The woman was waiting for a train at the Allen Metro station on August 7th about 5:30am, when a man, now identified ast Juan Pablo Flores, 33, attacked her, punching, kicking and dragging her across the platform, and onto the tracks. He then threw her onto the carpool lane of the 210 freeway. The woman, narrowly avoids being hit by cars while she continues to be attacked by the man.
The woman was seriously hurt but survived the attack, but will be dealing with lasting injuries and possible permanent disfigurement.
The LA County Sheriff's Department arrested Flores and he was charged by the LA County DA's office with felony attempted murder and mayhem. He is being held on $2 million bail.
Investigators believe this was a totally random attack.
