According to Proposition 57, to qualify for release inmates are required to accrue good-behavior points before being eligible. The public wants the prison system California District Attorneys Association (CDCR) to justify its early release of violent inmates who haven't accrued enough rehabilitation points. They have occasionally reoffended and committed crimes that are even more serious.
