STUDIO640 is a roundtable discussion in the style of Meet the Press, The McLaughlin Group, and Real Time with Bill Maher. But what makes STUDIO640 unique is the panel is comprised of student journalists.
The 2-hour program airs Sundays at 2:00 PM PT on KFI-AM 640 and is available on-demand via the iHeartRadio app immediately following the broadcast. The program is moderated by award-winning investigative journalist Steve Gregory and will include two to three guests from different colleges and universities. The panel will discuss news of the week and other topics of interest, including those dealing specifically within the university/college student community. Panelists may appear more than once.
A student panelist must be enrolled in an accredited college/university with a primary focus on journalism, broadcast, and/or communications. The student must also be a contributor to a college/university newspaper, radio station, television station, digital news outlet, or podcast. Independent journalists enrolled in school may also be considered.
Students from public and private schools, large or small, are encouraged to submit their application to be considered a panelist.
