PALMDALE (CNS) - A 22-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds when he was shot during an altercation at the door of his Palmdale apartment, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at the Casablanca apartment complex in the 4100 block of East Avenue R, Lt. Steve Sgrignoli of the Palmdale Sheriff's Station told City News Service.
The victim and at least two suspects argued over a past incident before the gunfire, Sgrignoli said. The victim may have known at least one of his attackers.
The victim was wounded in the upper body and one arm, the lieutenant said. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
