Average LA, Orange County Gas Prices Drop

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Friday eight-tenths of a cent to $4.612, a day after dropping a half-cent.

The average price is 1.3 cents more than one week ago, 16.6 cents less than one month ago and 51 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.882 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped seven-tenths of a cent to $4.54, a day after dropping nine-tenths of a cent.

It is 2.5 cents less than one week ago, 14.6 cents less than one month ago and 51.8 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.921 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price decreased two-tenths of a cent to $3.481, a day after dropping nine-tenths of a cent.

It is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 4 cents less than one month ago, and 32.2 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.535 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
