INGLEWOOD (CNS) - Jennifer Lopez stunned fans Friday by announcing the cancellation of her summer concert tour, although she vowed to "make it up to you" when possible.
No specific reason was given for the decision, although Live Nation officials said in a statement that Lopez is "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
In a message posted on her OntheJLo website, she wrote, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary."
"I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," she wrote.
The tour was set to include Southland stops on July 11 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, July 13 at Honda Center in Anaheim and July 19 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert.
According to Live Nation, people who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive refunds. People who bought through third-party sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub or Vivid Seats were instructed to reach out to "your point of purchase" for refund details.
Media reports in recent weeks have pointed to possible marital strife between her and husband Ben Affleck, with some indicating the couple are living apart. The couple married in 2022.
