NORWALK (CNS) - A 75-year-old woman with dementia went missing Tuesday from the Norwalk area, and authorities sought the public's help to find her.
Geneva Alfreda Mott was last believed to have been in the 11500 block of Imperial Highway at about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Mott is white, 5-feet-6 inches tall, weighs 164 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a sweater.
"Ms. Mott's family is concerned for her wellbeing and is asking for the public's help," the sheriff's department said in a statement.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
