LOS ANGELES (CNS) - "Oppenheimer" and "Barbie" were among the film nominees announced Tuesday for the 60th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing.
Both films were nominated for sound mixing in a live-action motion picture, along with "Ferrari," "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "Maestro."
For animated films, nominations went to "Elemental," "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem," "The Boy and the Heron" and "The Super Mario Brothers Movie."
The CAS Awards will be presented March 2 at the Beverly Hilton. During the ceremony, award-winning sound mixer Joe Earle ("American Horror Story," "Six Feet Under") will receive a CAS Career Achievement Award.
